[Aston's Stones]

Our film Aston’s Stones has been selected by the jury to be one of the 5 finalists for the Cartoon d’Or 2009.

Created by CARTOON in 1991, the Cartoon d’Or is the only European prize specific to animation.
It rewards each year a European short film that has been singled out at one of the most renowned European animation festivals. Conceived as a springboard, this important trophy is awarded together with a financial aid.

The 5 nominated short films will be screened during the Cartoon Forum on Thursday 24 September in front of an audience of 700 animation professionals from all over Europe. The winner’s name will then be revealed during the Cartoon d’Or Award Ceremony. He/she will receive a trophy as well as 10 000 EUR.

We are of course proud to be nominated.
